ClipThat uses third-party authentication providers (such as Replit Auth). We do not store passwords. Authentication credentials are managed by the identity provider.

  • Article URLs you submit
  • Extracted article titles
  • Extracted article content (if applicable)
  • Read/unread status
  • Timestamps
  • Profile photo (if uploaded)

C. Messaging Data

If you link your phone number:

  • Messages sent to or from ClipThat via SMS or WhatsApp
  • Messaging metadata (e.g., timestamps, message IDs)

D. Technical Information

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device information
  • Basic usage analytics
  • Cookies necessary for login/session functionality

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Save and manage articles in your account

  • Process YES / ALL commands
  • Provide support
  • Improve system reliability and performance

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not send marketing SMS messages.

3. SMS & Messaging

If you link a mobile number:

  • You consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to saving articles and managing read status.
  • Message frequency varies based on your activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • You may reply HELP for assistance.
  • Opting out disables SMS functionality but does not delete your account.

4. Data Sharing

We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Twilio (SMS delivery)
  • Hosting providers
  • Authentication providers (e.g., Replit)
  • Analytics providers (if applicable)

These providers process data solely to provide services to ClipThat.

We do not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.

Messaging logs may be retained for operational, compliance, or security purposes.

You are responsible for content you submit, including:
